Graciano Canda Jr. is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia. He is also admitted to practice as a solicitor in New South Wales.

He was the first Filipino lawyer admitted as barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria. He has over 30 years of experience in Australian legal practice and 8 years of experience as an admitted Attorney-at-law in the Philippines.

Graciano is the Principal Lawyer of the firm and leads the Property Law division. His areas of practice include property, leasing, conveyancing, business sales and purchase, Wills and Probate and commercial law.

Dr. Rodger Fernandez is a Senior Lawyer at FCG Legal with over 35 years experience as an Australian legal practitioner. He practises in the areas of Administrative Law, Migration Law, Litigation (including proceeds of crime) and Business Law.

He is accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a Specialist Solicitor in Immigration Law and was the Chairperson of the Advisory Committee to the Specialisation Board of the Law Institute of Victoria in immigration law for many years.

Rodger is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the College of Law and Justice, Victoria University and lectures in migration law and practice. He has lectured at Victoria University for over 35 years. He has previously lectured in Taxation and Business Law.

Rodger was also a member of the Program Advisory Committee, Immigration Advisers Authority New Zealand as well as the Independent Reference Group of the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA).

He is listed in the Financial Review’s ‘Australia’s Best Lawyers’ and is highly respected amongst his peers.

He is the co-author of the Australian Immigration Companion and the Australian Migration Legislation Collection published by LexisNexis.

Dr. Sherene Ozyurek is a Senior lawyer at FCG Legal. Sherene has been recognised as a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited specialist lawyer in immigration law since 2014. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia and has over 15 years of experience in resolving complex migration matters. She is listed in the Financial Review’s ‘Australia’s Best Lawyers.’
Sherene is an Adjunct Associate Professor (Law) at Victoria University and has lectured in migration law for over a decade. Her PhD research focused on migration law.
She is a member of the Accredited Specialisation Board of the Law Institute of Victoria and an advisory committee member (Immigration law).

She is the co-author of the Australian Migration Legislation Collection and Australian Immigration Companion and has contributed to other migration related texts.

Andrew Flower has been practising for over thirty four years in the fields of commercial law, litigation and employment law. He was a barrister at the Victorian Bar for nearly 18 years. He is experienced at drafting pleadings and other court documents, advice on prospects in litigation, preparation of trials and advocacy in all jurisdictions. He appears as Counsel in all Courts and Tribunals in the State and Federal jurisdictions.

Cheryl is a senior lawyer at FCG Legal and is a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited specialist lawyer in immigration law. Cheryl assists clients with complex migration matters and has extensive experience in this area. This includes but not limited to Business Visa Cancellations, Character Cancellations, Notice of Intention to Cancel, Character and Health assessments as well as appeals to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Federal Circuit Court, Federal Court and the High Court of Australia.

She also practises in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, criminal law and proceeds of crime.

Duy is a senior lawyer at FCG Legal and is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.

Duy assists clients with complex migration matters and has extensive experience in this area. This includes but is not limited to cancellation of visas including Business Visas, Student visas, Character Grounds. He also has extensive experience with assisting clients with their Notice of Intention to Take Action, Character and Health assessments, refusals of citizenship appplications on character grounds and refusals on PIC 4020 grounds. He frequently represents clients before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. He also assists clients with applications for judicial review before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, Federal Court and High Court of Australia.

Charles Ji is an Australian Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Victoria with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science. Charles is currently completing his Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne.

Charles was admitted to the legal profession in 2021, but his interest in migration law began in 2018 while working at a migration consulting company in Melbourne. Charles has assisted with a number of matters, ranging from the primary application stage to matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Courts. Charles has also worked on and assisted in highly complex matters, including visa refusals, character cases and visa cancellations.

Charles is also proficient in Mandarin.

Simon Wang is an Australian Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Victoria and a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University.

Prior to his work as an immigration lawyer, Simon completed his professional placement at an immigration law firm.
