Dr. Sherene Ozyurek is a Senior lawyer at FCG Legal. Sherene has been recognised as a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited specialist lawyer in immigration law since 2014. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia and has over 15 years of experience in resolving complex migration matters. She is listed in the Financial Review’s ‘Australia’s Best Lawyers.’
Sherene is an Adjunct Associate Professor (Law) at Victoria University and has lectured in migration law for over a decade. Her PhD research focused on migration law.
She is a member of the Accredited Specialisation Board of the Law Institute of Victoria and an advisory committee member (Immigration law).
She is the co-author of the Australian Migration Legislation Collection and Australian Immigration Companion and has contributed to other migration-related texts.
